Variable Speed wire saw for cuts of any size in Marble and Granite.

35 kW 4-pole electric motor, connected to the 102 cm CFK 27 flywheel through a variable speed drive and an orthogonal Gleason gearbox, which also carries two 40 cm guidewheels.

The gearbox turns through 360″ and adjusts laterally to make parallel cuts at min 100 and max 200 cm distance.

The latter two adjustments are electrically driven.

The electric power system is in a water-tight (IP 65) cabinet in the machine itself, while the electronic cards to control wire tension are in the mobile control panel, also water-tight. Electronic cards are protected to Class 4 and supplied through a transformer to reduce voltage spikes.

Track: In two parts each 3 m long with central rack, plus a third short element without rack to help machine positioning. Plug-in connection, with ties. Double drive for fast machine travel and for slow cutting speeds.

A secondary roller ensures that the drive pinion remains engaged with the rack under all conditions.
